Visit Honors

Prospective Students (visit options for students entering college fall 2016 and beyond)

During spring and summer 2015, prospective juniors who are interested in learning more about the University Honors Program have the opportunity to attend our Honors Information Sessions (no registration is required to attend).

These sessions are held in our office, in Old Manse between 12:15-12:45 pm on Mondays and Fridays. During this time, a staff member will discuss the University Honors Program and answer questions. The available dates are listed in blue on the calendar below.

Accepted Student Information Session and Panel
The Honors Program will hold a one-hour information session at every Make It Miami! event this spring, from 2:00-3:00 pm in the Armstrong Student Center Pavilion, room C. This presentation includes a student panel—please come to learn more about the program and get your honors questions answered.


High-Ability Student Receptions
Join current University Honors students for one of our High-Ability Student Receptions, which we offer on select Sunday evenings and Friday afternoons. Each High-Ability Student Reception is an optional add-on to the Make It Miami! event*. These events give you a glimpse into life as a high-ability student on our campus.

  • Sunday, February 15 (5:30-9:30 pm)
  • Friday, February 27 (3:00-6:00 pm)
  • Friday, March 6 (3:00-6:00 pm)
  • Friday, March 13 (3:00-6:00 pm)
  • Sunday, April 5 (5:30-9:30 pm)
  • Sunday, April 12 (5:30-9:30 pm)

*You must register to attend a Make It Miami! and its related High-Ability Student Reception. Registration for both can be made within your student admission portal. Please register ahead of time. Due to space limitations, these events will fill quickly!

The University Honors Program Office is located in Old Manse, at 410 East High Street, Oxford OH 45056. The Office is located at the corner of High Street and Tallawanda Road.
Visitors to the Honors Program Office are encouraged to park in the North Campus Garage. No permit is needed. For more details on Visitor Parking, please click here.
